Dr. Ron Rand is the Founder and Director of UpBuilding Ministries since 1989.

He is an ordained Presbyterian Church USA pastor and attended Princeton, McCormick, and United Theological Seminaries. His first pastorate was with a small-sized rural congregation in Mora, Minnesota which the Lord doubled in size. He then served as both an Associate and Co-Pastor for eighteen years at College Hill Presbyterian Church, a congregation of 2300 members in Cincinnati, Ohio, from which the Lord birthed multiple lay ministries. God has also blessed Ron with numerous opportunities to train nationals on misson fields in Japan, Taiwan, Haiti, Brazil, Mexico and South Africa.

God has gifted Ron with creativity, an engaging sense of humor, and an amazing ability to simplify profound Biblical truths. His love for the Lord and people of all ages is evident in all that he does. His enthusiasm is contagious!

Ron's story-telling style of communicating has made him a popular speaker at marriage seminars, family events, leadership retreats, and pastors' conferences for churches of many denominations, for other ministries such as Promise Keepers, and for chapel services of Major League baseball and NFL football teams.

Dr. Rand is the author of Won By One and For Fathers Who Aren't In Heaven. He is married, has three sons, two daughters-in-law, three grandsons, and two granddaughters. He can be reached via e-mail at upbuilding@att.net.
